This practical nursing program provides academic, theoretical, and clinical instruction in medical, surgical, obstetric, pediatric, geriatric, and mental health nursing. Prior Education Requirement: An applicant must have a U.S. high school diploma or the equivalent. 2. Entrance Testing: An applicant must demonstrate the capacity to succeed in college-level courses. Practical Nursing Program Requirements - Applicants must meet all the following criteria: (1) A high school or prior college grade point average of at least *2.0 or higher. (2) Achieve a minimum composite score of 48 on the most current version of the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS); TEAS score must be from within two years of anticipated date of matriculation. Once completing the LPN program, if eligible, a student can enroll in an Bachelor of Science in Nursing - LPN Option.

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
